About Me

i am a mother of 4 children who are all schooling in a nearby school . i live in kiptagwanyi center plot no 8 in this plot is where i live with my family of 5 adding my husband who is also a businessman and because our business is not the same he have a soda depot and me a beer depot. kiptagwanyi is about 43 kilometer from nakuru which is the major town in this area, also is where i get i get my product in a wholesale price so tomade me to sell in retail and wholesale in kiptagwanyi, i started this business in this area because there were many customers and there was no depot in this area.beer bar in this area is around 40 and thy were getting this product in nakuru this making the price of beer to be higher in this area.and from the place where i came from because i was also doing this business there was higher competition.the earning of this business cater for my children education and because i have two children in secondary school i am able to pay for their education. also from this earning i am able to buy a land in this area

My Business

my business entail in selling beer in a wholesale to the surrounding bars, whereby i get it straight from the company and distribute it to the surrounding bar where people get the drinks. and because there is no other depot in the area and no competition when i count the profit this business pay very well the business is profitable and the demand of my product is very high in this place.the main challenge is poor road to transport this product and also high cost of transportation of this product because i don't have my means of transport to the required place if i can get support and then add to what i have already i will be able to transport my product to the far place where my product dont reach because of transport and also i could be able to introduce the new market as many could offer me the order to transport this product like this time as we approach the festive season i knew i can made a very good profit and also people after harvesting many like to go to bar to [rub the dust] or to enjoy the harvest.

Loan Proposal

my dear lenders in this first loan with zidisha org, i want to divide it in to two.20,000 i will start the new business of spirit and wine. the second 15,000 , i will add stock in my beer depot and the lest i will use in transport to my business as you know the transport in this area is very costly .in this way i will be able to prosper in this business and also in this way i will be able to repay in time

    Dear lenders,
This is Analin Saturria McGregor, Communications Associate at Zidisha.
Paul Mwangi, who helped Florence post her loan application, has paid her a visit after we noticed Florence was late in her loan repayments. Florence has been ill since February, suffering from high blood pressure issues and having some kidney problems. Fortunately, Florence is now under treatment and her health is slowly getting back under control. Florence expects to be fully back on her feet by the end of this month. We hope she recovers fully and continues to get access to the medication she needs.
