I am Titus Mwenda Mugambi. I graduated with Diploma in Business information and Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University in 2012. I have been seeking for a Job but in vain. I decided to be a self employed person and venture into horticulture in order to sustain my family needs. I am looking forward to being the main supplier of basic needs in my village with affordable prices.
With $1200, which was mainly from my relatives' contributions, I ventured into horticultural farming that has been satisfying some of my needs. I am on the process of repaying some of the funds that I was trusted with. At least, I am more than a-half way of repaying my dues. Due to the high demand of tomatoes, I have a ready market that I enjoy and I am determined to work until the demand and supply is balanced. I have employed two so far and look forward to creating job opportunities for youths who had the similar challenges in securing employment.
I first take this opportunity to thank Zidisha community for giving me the chance to seek the help. I look forward to the the loan which I will use as follows. I will use about $50 to buy farm chemicals that I have been advised. I will then spray the pesticides and other nutritious fertilizers so that my farm will yield maximum products. I will after one week, I will start returning the loan in about $8 every week as there is another greenhouse that I intend to start harvesting soon. I will do my best not to disappoint you if you lend me the money. Thank you.
