i pay homage to the zidisha community for enabling me share my portfolio to the world.I am lilian wanjiku from githurai.I am happily married with two kids,I have a diploma in secretarial studies from aviation college here in Nairobi.I opted to venture into business since i like being self employed-this enables become creative and also make my own decisions.i deal in female clothing.I did my research around githurai and found that there was a an opportunity in female ware thus i gave it a try and the results have been good.I am able to educate my children from the proceeds of the business

Greetings to the zidisha community and thanks alot for your hospitality.I have been dealing with selling female clothes from skirts trousers blouse to mention but a few.i cater for all classes-working class,housewives and even children.The business has proved to be very profitable considering the fact that i started small but i have been able to expand the business thanks to determination and hard work.In the beginning i started with 25 pieces,however i currently boast of 120 pieces in my shop.I am able to sell at least 20 pieces in a week.In a typical month,i am able to make profits of up to 14,00 shillings,i pay 1,500 for my business premises.i also buy fresh stocks weekly which may cost me for between 4,000 to 8,000 depending on the sales that i have made.With this loan from zidisha i plan to venture in foot wear to maximize my revenue

my gratitude towards the entire zidisha community like i had states earlier in my profile i plan to add a shoe line to my existing clothes business.I shall use 4,500 to buy stock of shoes from the Gikomba market here in Nairobi,I n addition i will use 2,500 to purchase dyes,shoe polish and brushes-this will aid in giving the shoes an appealing look to the customers.From the market research i have undertaken in my locality(namely Githurai)I am fully convinced that this new venture will be very profitable and will greatly boost my existing business by increasing profitability Since customers will now be able to purchase clothes and shoe from my shop.My appreciation goes to zidisha community for this opportunity.Thanks alot
