About Me

I am a single mother of two girls. I grew up in a polygamous family. a family of 18 children. I am the last born. Life was difficult then because poverty was real. My parents were subsistence farmers and could nit afford much for the family. Luckily, with the help of my elder brothers, I was able to go through school upto college level. I trained as a Hotelier in Food and Beverage service course. I was employed as a waiteress in a Guest House in Nairobi city for 15 years. By then, I had 2 children that I was raising on my own. I really had to start saving and earning extra income for their upkeep and education. So, I resigned from that job and with the benefits abd savings I had accumulated over the years managed to start my own business at my hometown. It has been our source of support. My eldest daughter is now completing High School. The other one finish ing Her primary school next year.

My Business

My business is a general grocery shop. It started small and have grown over the years. I have joined small and micro enterprise group that I save in and apply for small loans when in need. I'd love to have more of the same. To be able to save more and borrow more.

Loan Proposal

I'll make another list of missing items for sale at the Grocery shop then restock. That will help me sell more hence make more profit
