About Me

I am humble young Kenyan man,the firstborn in a family of three aged 23 years. I completed my high school studies in 2008. i have volunteered in several NGOs since completing high school which include The Kenya Red Cross and Family Health Options Kenya (FHOK). My key roles in the organizations was counseling and advising high students on issues concerning their sexual health, drug abuse, building one's self esteem etc. Giving back to the community is my greatest joy which I do whenever I get the chance. I have worked for a supermarket for 2 years where i managed to raise funds and established a business early this year. I started the business with the motive of increasing my earnings and create job opportunities in the near future. I support my family with the earnings I get from my business. My family is a very essential part of my life since they are the ones who keep me me going and keeps my ship sailing in difficult times and through weary and heavy storms. They give a sense of belonging at all times.

My Business

My main source of income is my business which has supported me for the last 6 months and still going on successfully strong. I deal with the sell of toys, clothes, perfumes, bracelets, chains and other beauty accessories. Good relationship with my customers has made my business continue running. Having confidence in what you do will make others be interested in your business. That has made my business to be preferred to the competition thus making it profitable. My greatest risk is incurring a bad dept and when I give out goods on credit to my customers with a view of securing them and at the end am not paid upon the agreed time. My current monthly cost on average is Kshs 10000 and get a profit of about Kshs 5000 after all my deductions. The loan I shall get from the Zidisha I will invest it in my business.

This new year started as a big challenge for my business as the local government to increase operation licences and business permits, something that was not anticipated.however am optimistic that I shall be able to settle my loan in good time. the loan had a good impact on my business which I surely apprecite.
I would like to thank the Zidisha family for their continued support to the youths on playing a big role by financing our business ideas and projects.
Its my hope that this year will be a blessed year as we endeavour to grow together.
    God bless you all.

sometimes things we plan to do dont fall or go as to our plans or how we hope the m to turn. thats not a crime , its nature. what is important is to note where we missed our steps and correct our moves n with another trial, the results will be better and encouraging.
For you to get something you never had you ought to do something you have never done. the fear of unknown results should not deter one from tryng out something new. Interset and determination to excel should suppress the fear of faliure and with these I truly know and believe that WE CAN DO IT.

Running a business is hard work, and it can be easy to get down or lose your motivation. With that in mind, here are some quotes that I have appreciated. I hope you find them insightful! I highlighted a few that stood out to me (and I threw in a few funny ones for good measure).

If you know of any other good quotes please add them in the comments.

If you see a bandwagon, it’s too late. – James Goldsmith
Business opportunities are like buses, there’s always another one coming. – Richard Branson
You must be the change you wish to see in the world. – Mahatma Gandhi
You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don’t do too many things wrong. – Warren Buffett
The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same. – Carlos Castaneda
There’s no shortage of remarkable ideas, what’s missing is the will to execute them. – Seth Godin

Success is not obtained overnight. It comes in installments; you get a little bit today, a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate, you lose that day's success.” I will never give up, just push harder because the thought of quitting if far worse than the temporary pain I'm feeling now. Never say never, for if you live long enough, chances are you will not be able to abide by the simplest of such injunctions.keep your head and nver let your dream out of sight.I will keep pushing harder everyday for my success
