About Me

I am Casper Asiagi from Keroka. Am a student at Chuka University, currently pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Eco-tourism and Hospitality management..

My passion is seeing people doing business and prospering on all as a result of education and inventiveness.

My hobbies, are travelling, watching foreign programs and documentaries to assist me with exposure of the outside world.

My dreams are to become a prominent person in the world of commerce and be able to help the less fortunate and often discriminated groups.

My Business

after the successfully funding and repaying of the first loan which i utilized in mitumba, i have opened a new business that mainly deals with poultry. the business is located in chuka where i rear chicken and resale them at a profit. i mainly major in broilers which i supply to the local hotels and restaurants. i buy one chick at one dollar and after five months when they have matured, i resale them at ten dollars making a profit of 9 dollars. the main agenda of this business is to equip the community with knowledge on poultry which is not widely practiced in this area. This is an idea that came into my mind after i did a survey in chuka when carrying out research in hotels whereby we had to look out for what has not been addressed in hospitality section. In this business we are two people from the same family;Lilian Nyaboke and I.

Loan Proposal

Kenya is country that going for the loan in a bank requires many securities such as title deeds and car log books. this has made many young people who do not have access to this to fail in entrepreneurship. given this loan i will use it in the following functions.
1. 40 dollars will be used on the renovation of the chicken house
2. 40 dollars will be used in the purchase of chicks
3. 20 dollars will be used in purchase of chicken food
4. 20 dollars will be used to buy insecticides and other drugs
5. 30 dollars will be used to buy a bicycle which i will use to transport the hens to my customers

Dear zidisha and lenders I am set to finish repaying my loan but I have a family issue to attend to and therefore would love to extend my paying period. For the mean time I would love to split the remaining amount and pay it in installlments. I will finish repaying this loan and I appreciate my lenders for the opportunity. Thanks very much for the opportunity.

Dear support, I understand that it is not good to be rescheduling the re,payment. However, I have currently been faced with a big challenge. My wife was expectant and I was blessed with a baby boy. I currently have mixed mood, one for delaying the repayment and being blessed by a kid. I am however looking forward to start repaying the loan with a Ksh 2784 weekly in order to complete my repayment. Thank you.

In the near future i predict that people will turn to the zidisha community since i have seen many who want to be invited need more clarification on how the micro lending community works on the loans that it lends to its clients and the time span.

    Dear Zidisha Support,
I thank God and also all the Zidisha community for the good wishes. Since I returned to my business, there has been a great change and miraculously, the clients at my business are blessing me wonderfully. The business is now doing well and my assessment sees a promising prediction of the business doing well. Now that it has come to its roots, I am requesting that the weekly payment to be raised to Ksh 2000. This is to facilitate the completion of the loan so that other beneficiaries will get assisted. Thank you.

    Dear Support,
I have been sick for over two months. It has been hard for me to access the internet and I had no one to reschedule the loan on my behalf. During this period, I have not been able to undertake my business therefore experiencing some loses due to low sales. I used to close my business in order to attend to medical dates. Now that I have recovered, I ask you to reschedule it to Ksh 78 as I am stabilizing the business. Thank you in advance and sorry for the inconvenience.
