About Me

I am Kwaku Appiah, a J.H.S. graduate. After my J.H.S education when I got to know I am not good with formal education, I decided to go the informal way so I started with my training as a mechanic at Sofoline Fitting Shop. After my training, I realized that I am more interested in driving than being a mechanic, so I joined a truck driver who takes cargo from Tema port to the other parts of the country and nearby countries as well. After some time with him, my brother bought me a taxi which I use to ply from Akropong - Adum.
In my country Ghana, most of the people don't have respect for my profession so I decided to make a difference in the profession by driving executively.

My Business

The average person in Ghana hires a taxi two or three times daily in their daily activities. That makes my business very lucrative and demanding too. I sometimes even forget to eat, but I love my work so much that I don't even feel angry about that. I chose this business because I feel so passionate about it. Growing up, I enjoyed watching the drivers in my village driving and how they are cheered by the villages to the extent that they sometimes give free food and other things. My costs are mainly maintaining the car and fuel. I use the profit I realize from this business to sponsor my family, especially my children's education and my sick mum. It is my dream to increase my business by buying more of the taxis and a mini bus.

Loan Proposal

i have been in the taxi business for years transporting my clients from length and breath of kumasi metropolis but the unfortunate happened when my gear box broke down, please due to the break down of my car gear box it has halted my business, i will therefore be glad if i can get a loan of 215 USD to help me buy a new one. this loan will go a long way to put food to the table of my family again as getting the gear box will put me back into business, again i want to do some general maintenance on my taxi to revamp the interest of my client in hiring me than my competitors due to this obstacle am loosing a lot of my customers to my customers. giving this loan will also increase my sales by 15% or more so please help me get back my business on track. Thank you
