About Me

Dear Lenders, i would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as i am applying to be a Member of Zidisha. I am Kelvin Mulenga from Luapula pronvicewhere i did my primary level up to grade eight and I was born with 5 other children and i am the second born although our first born passed on which makes me the crowned prince of our family as a first born. I took this responsibility after finishing my course in agriculture and went to help my parents in the village and cultivated a big garden of vegetables, Tomatoes and onion and soon they will be preparing to harvest and make their produce sales again. And me and my wife will always be helping them in terms of sales here in Lusaka as i also make other plans in soya beans plantation. I plan to grow into a big farmer because my parents have a big land at their farm. I want to be doing crop rotation. Please i need all the support i can get from you my Lenders as i would like to implement my skills on the land. All my life i have been a farmer, where i did managed a school garden and i came out the best in class. And i think there is nothing else i am interest in apart from playing with crops.

My Business

I am doing farming business together with my parents at the farm and i and my wife help in the selling of our farm produce, we sell Tomatoes, Onion, and vegetables like chinese cabbage and rape. All we need right now is the water pump to be able to pump water from the well for watering the garden, as we are having challenges with water from the streem. Always drying up this period. And as important farming is, our vegetables are on demand because of freshness, and we hire a truck for transporting them to our market in Lusaka.

Loan Proposal

Thank you my Lenders for the first loan i received, now i am applying for another one and i will use it to buy small hose pipes for water connection in my garden to make good irrigation system. This will add more value to the vegetables and i will be harvesting healthy vegetables. And i will get a 400 meters at ZMW750 and i will manage to sale more than that in one harvest.
