About Me

My Business is: English Course For People. It is located In Surabaya, Indonesia. It should be known that there is a big gap between The Have and The Have-nots in Indonesia. The Have-people have access to good education including International Schools and use English in conversation daily. However, the Have-nots do not have access to proper English lessons. They do receive English education in regular schools for free but the schools are public schools, which belong to government, and the English lessons are of low quality. Most students in elementary school cannot speak English. Starting from $10/month, the Have-nots can have access to quality English study. Students get to learn the grammar rules of English and have many opportunities to practice through speaking. Given time, they will understand English just like the Have-people. It is a Business, but it is also about helping.

My Business

The prospect of this business is bright. There is little or no competition because the other English schools only focus on middle class and up, whereas we focus on the lower-middle class. My business has already been running for 2 years, and it has had a total of approximately 50 students taught in 3 different locations in Surabaya, Indonesia. It has been successful because I have been able to run this and make some profit, even in its first year.

In the first year I gathered 30 students, each paying $10/month. In total, I have been receiving $300/month, and spending up to 50% on operational costs. Therefor I have had an average profit of $150/month.

In the 2nd Years I collected 50 students, each paying $10/month. In total, I have been receiving $500/month, and spending up to 50% on operational costs. Therefor I have had an average profit of $250/month.

in the second year I gathered 50 students, each paying $10/month. In total, I have been receiving $500/month, and spending up to 50% on operational costs. Therefor I have had an average profit of $250/month.

Loan Proposal

I will use this money for expanding my business and open many English classes in strategic places. As this business is focused on lower middle class people, the location must be easily accessible. And to get people interested, I will soon bring English Speakers to the public school for promotion. For this, I will need to spend some money. But the main focus of this funding is to give very poor students free study in my class. In fact, there are about 500 students in every school that belong to government teaching. We can only collect about 10 students to study in my class. These 10 students have the ability to pay $10/month. There are 490 other students who would like to join my class, but cannot because they do not have the ability to pay $10/month.

But sometimes I give some discount until 75% and even free to study in my class. In fact, there are about 500 students in every school that belong to government teaching. We can only collect about 10 students to study in my class. These 10 students have the ability to pay $10/month. There are 490 other students who would like to join my class, but cannot because they do not have the ability to pay $10/month.

Finally, i can share my knowledge, not only with students who have ability to pay, but also with students who do not have ability to pay. A business but giving, that is my goal.

The prospect of this business is bright. There is little or no competition because the other English schools only focus on middle class and up, whereas we focus on the lower-middle class. Starting from 2013, my business has already been running for 3 years, and it has had a total of approximately 75 students taught in 3 different locations in Surabaya, Indonesia. It has been successful because I have been able to run this and make some profit, even in its first year.

In the first year I gathered 30 students, each paying $10/month. In total, I have been receiving $300/month, and spending up to 50% on operational costs. Therefor I have had an average profit of $150/month.

And now, in the 3rd year I gathered around 75 students, each paying $10/month. In total, I have been receiving $750/month, and spending up to 50% on operational costs. Therefor I have had an average profit of $375/month.
