I was born in a family of 10 in nyanza region part of kenya.Being the first born i faced many challenges including staying out of school at sometime to do menial jobs to raisemoney to cater for my school requirements.I studied in my local primary school whereby my parents could not afford to even a single text book for, leave going hungry for several days. After primary,i joined a local secondary school where the situation remained the same until i completed form four. After school i migrated to Nakuru town to look for employment.Luckily i got a job as houseboy in an Asian home. Then could use the small salary to train my self as radio and Tv service technician. After that i opened my workshop in 2006.2013 i started chasing my dream of furthering my studies and joined a collage to study in business and completed my diploma in 2014. The uniqueness about my land where i live is that it is extensively engaged in agriculture and a fast growing town.My children want to have better education and live a decent life.I like watching movies.
In my business i offer services to electronics i.e TVs, radios e.t,c.In TV service i charge a minimum service fee of Kshs. 200(around 2.2 dollars). In radio i charge a minimum of Kshs100.My services are in demand because many times electronics machines get damaged due to to different reasons including faults from the power source..I chose this kind of business because it involves technical knowledge hence self employment. My typical costs include buying new equipment after the present get faulty. My customers machines may get different other faults during handling of the machine due to high risk involved in handling electronic machines.I use my profits paying school fees for my 2 kids,my family keep up,assisting my needy parents and currently am planning to open a shop of selling electronics spare parts
Will spend 400 dollars to buy a new fashion malt-meter.This will make work more easier and in finding faults and cope up with the emerging technology.my profit will increase because i will be serving more machines in a day than previous.
