About Me

My name is Josephine Muthoni Gatune and a resident of Nakuru county.l do business in Mangu center and am not married.am a graduate and after long search for a job in the formal sector with no success l started selling milk to the residents of Mangu center where l use to distribute the milk mainly to the hotels within the center.but later with the help of my parents l managed to open a milk bar where l collect the milk from the farmers within and sell to the local residents. This enables me to earn a living and support my siblings who are still in school as well as do some personal development.

My Business

l started the business three years ago.l collect the milk from the farmers at ks 30 per liter and sell at ks 40 per liter.this enables me to make an average gross profit of ks 1500 per day.The demand for milk is very high in the area because of the many residents of mangu center and due to the scarcity especially during the dry seasons.for me to make sales l make sure that my prices are affordable to the customer and sell quality milk so as to avoid losses and competition from processed milk.if advanced with the loan l will be able to buy more milk and increase the sales.

i will buy a milk fridge to keep my milk,which costs 224.7191 dollars it will help me to buy a lot of milk and store it there without getting spoiled and it will help my customers to never lack the milk because i will be buying many litters and store it for several days.i expect my profit to increase by 20% per day.
