About Me

My name is Mohammed Abdul Basir and I am a young man of 27 years. I hail from the Northern Region of Ghana. I currently live, school and work in Kumasi which is the capital of Ashanti Region.
After my second cycle education at one of the most prominent schools in the country, T.I. Ahmadiyya I got pulled into the enticing world of information technology from watching Hollywood movies about cyber security and artificial intelligence.
I enrolled into National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) and that was when i realized I.T was everything I imagined and even more.
I was employed at NIIT upon completing my Diploma in Network Administration as an instructor.
I currently supply computers to individuals and private entities like churches, pharmacy shops and retail shops alongside my work as an instructor.
I believe in the phrase "honesty is the best policy" especially in business because it is the main factor that brings about trust and helps to maintain integrity

My Business

I supply computers and computer accessories to individuals and private entities and perform after-sale services such as repairs and maintenance. Laptops and desktop computers, keyboards, mouse, modems and external storage devices are some of the products I deal in.
Most of my customers are students who can not afford to pay in full for their products so I offer a flexible installment payment package which always leaves them happy when they buy from me. And they always keep referring me new customers. This is because all stores that offer these same products as I demand cash-and-carry mode of payment.
I am truly dedicated to satisfying all my customers and I really desire to expand my business.

Loan Proposal

With this loan, I will
1. Buy more laptops, Laptop bags, chargers, keyboards, mouse, USB hubs and more accessories to increase my stock at my shop.
2. Advertise my services at radio stations and selected print media so as to gain more exposure for my business.
3. Enroll in a course in hardware and operating system software repair and maintenance at Accra Institute of Technology to enable me service any damage to my products and offer after sale repair services for my customers

I expect that when these issues are addressed the profit the business generates will triple or even quadruple. Currently, I make a profit of GHS800 to GHS1000.
