About Me

I am Bitinari Ongeri Elick who was born in Kisii county and later raised in Nairobi County. Nairobi is the capital city of the Republic of Kenya.
I managed to undergo the primary and secondary school the Kenyan system of education up to college level where i joined Social Work and Community Development course from Gusii Institute of Science and Technology where i attained a grade of Credit.
Through going hardships mostly of fee problem due to sudden death of my Mother through road accident, i decided to start a small business in clothing sales due to lack of employment opportunities in our country Kenya. I managed to save little money that i used as capital to start my current business.
During my childhood i dreamed to be a lawyer to help people to known their human rights and freedoms and also to get Justice in courts . My hobby is reading the Bible and novels, Travelling and making new friends.

My Business

I live in Nairobi where i do my business. My business entails selling of second hand clothes locally known as Mtumba. These goods are in demand locally for they are cheap, durable and affordable to the local citizens. I chose this business for it needed less capital to start and the goods are of high demand to the locally.
My typical cost are US dollar 120 into water and light bills. US dollar 80 for monthly rent for two shops. Averagely, i make revenue of about US dollar 550. So my net profit is US dollar 350 for a month.
My profit is used to basically paying school fees for my brother and sister in secondary and university respectively, also used to add stock to my business and give some donations to children's home.

Loan Proposal

I am optimistic to get a loan with Zidisha. If my loan get funded i will be able to put more clothes to restock my business.
Am currently in need of US Dollar 148.68.
If i get funded, 69.55. US Dollars will go to purchase women cloth materials and also 69.13. US Dollars will go for new men fashion cloths. Renovation of my two shops will cost US Dollars 10.32.
I will expect the loan to increase my profit margin to 35%.

I will highly appreciate for the loan dear Zidisha Lenders
