About Me

I was born and bred here in Kenya in the upcountry. My parents were no well up as such, getting education was tricky. My inlaw took the responsibility of educating me to high school.Thereafter,I had to go to Nairobi,do odd jobs and raise my college fee.I managed to enrol at Kisumu polytechnic where I did a diploma in business administration.I was lucky to get a 1 year contract job while on attachment with a local CSO and upon the expiry of the contract,I took a loan from local sacco and combined with my savings to open up a retail shop and computer services.I engage in civil activism part time and am also a musician ie an instrumentalist, vocalist and composer

My Business

I operate a retail shop dealing with consumer/food stuffs,Mpesa agent, stationeries, computer services ie printing, photocopy, scanning, photo studio, internet and emails as well as scanning.I also bake burns -Mandazi,chapati and popcorns.I chose this business after I did market analysis and realised availability of academic instituitions will boost my business. My daily sales ranges between 2000-5000 KES while my expenditures purchases ammounts to between 1500-3500 daily.I plough back part of the profits to the business and use the rest on family upkeep

Loan Proposal

I will top up the loan and purchase a new pc to enhance my computer services and cyber cafe. This will definitely improve my customer base and increase my profits

The increased cost of living as a result of various factors like Corona pandemic, the diplomatic row between Russia and Ukraine and political activities in Kenya has contributed to a decline in business prosperity hence tough economic times
