my story
my names are henry mogaka,i come from kisii county in nyanza province of kenya, am a trained primary school teacher from eregi teachers college but not yet employed permanently by the government. currently am teaching a private school known as st. michael academy at bobaracho in kisii county.
am second born in a family of four and not married yet. i am a youth leader in both our village and in our local church that is maili mbili SDA church among my duties is to educate youths dangers of drug abuse and how they can be useful to to society where over seventy percent of the youth is unemployed.
apart from teaching i do subsistence farming in which i practice mixed farming. my schedule is usually tight until Saturday where i relax a bit to attend the church and youth. i have an ambition or a dream of getting a degree now that i already have a diploma in primary education this is what is prompting to work extra hard to raise school fees to pay my fees at a local university when i start to attend classes.

My Business

my business
am a subsistence farming who practices mixed farming, apart from plating maize am growing indigenous poultry which have a higher market compared to exotic ones. i have a total of 72 birds who range from chicks to fully grown birds. i have layers which lay and hutch that how have been multiplying from two hens and a cockerel up to now i have the 72.
i sell an average of four birds weekly making about$25 and sell eggs up to $10 weekly that gives me a total of $ 35 which when i less expenses of about $30 able to save $5 weekly translating $20 monthly. struggling to have various units to separate the chicks from growers even separate from fully grown birds
