About Me

My name is Abayie Ofosu - yeboah, a proud zidisha member . I am happily married with two wonderful kids. I am self-employed farmer . I am a university graduate. I come from a family whose major source of income has been farming and therefore started to farm at an earlier age of 9 yrs. My home town is Juansa where most of the inhabitants are farmers. I want a better future for my chichildren. I am into plantain and cocoacocoa farming. I like to read when I am free and also I enjoy playing with my kids.

My Business

I want a loan of about 3400 ghana cedis to start a new venture. I want to animal with the farming since there's is a great market for them especially during festive seasons. I will use 50% of the money to buy two female goats, one male goat, one ram and a sheep. I will use 35% to construct a pen for them. I will also use 10% to pay for vertenary service . I will also save the remaining 5% to cater for petty expenses they may arise. I will use the faeces from the animals to fertilize my farm which will also cut down cost on buying fertilizers therefore saving me money.
I will use some of the proceeds from my farm to pay for my loan.
Itis my prayer that Zidisha support me as I enter into this new venture. Thank you and may God richly bless you.

Loan Proposal

Loan Proposal
I will also use part ($150) to support the needy. I want to produce more bags of cocoa for the government. The vegetables harvested will be used by the people in the community and the nation as a whole. I will use part of the money ($100) to hire labours to work in the farm during both cultivation and harvesting of farm products. I will also use part of the money ($50) to help my husband to further his education. I will also use some of the money ($50) to further my education. The farm will be used for research Centre for students in the agriculture programme. I will provide a lot of tomatoes to the people in the community as well as those in the nation as well. I will provide more garden eggs to supply the people in the community and the rest of the people in other communities in order to meet their demand. I will also help the needy in the community and others from different societies. I will expand the business to commercial farming. I may need money for this expansion or growing of the business. I advocate for the youth to also be in the agriculture business. I will use part of the money to develop my church and community.
My revenue is $1000 and so my net is $600 a month. This is expected to increase as when the demand for my service becomes high as i am anticipating.
I am also competing people in the same industry with modern sophiscated farming machines which i do not have, having been in the industry for not that long as i am financially constrained.
I also have the intention of acquiring an additional land and buying in bulk agriculture products, fertilizers, seeds for cultivation for future usage as it price keeps increasing and to also show case (display) my products to the public.
I humbly plead to Zidisha to come to my aid to help expand my own farm, buy farm machines and acquire a store to display my products.
I will be able repay my loan facility with the daily proceeds from my sales.
