I studied at the nearby kusumek primary before joining chebole day .School fees was a problem because my father was unemplyed and my mother was a casual labourer at neighbouring farms. After high school a friend of mine introduced me to tomato and capsicum farming. I had saved some money which I then invested.
Within our locality most of the people do tea farming .I saw a gap in tomatoes and capsicum farming so I took it.
Tomato and capsicum farm.I do tomato and capsicum farming in greenhouses. In my neighbourhood most of the guys do tea farming that's why I decided to venture in tomato and capsicum farming. There was always a shortage in supply.
Typically every harvest I earn aboutKsh 16000 out of which 6500 comprises profits .
I use the profits to grow more tomatoes and capsicum.
I will use the loan to add up to my savings and purchase two new water pipes for my greenhouse farm.Recently there has been a shortage in water ,i plan to draw water from a nearby river and use it in my greenhouse.Doing so shortages in rainfall water which i normally harvest to water tanks will not affect my production.
Steady water supply will help me increase production and earn more profits. Supply will also not be affected in the market
