About Me

My name is Nana Boateng. I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo of Region of Ghana. I grew up in a very deprived province of Ghana, where living under a dollar is a reality. I had only basic education, but i learn all the days of my life. Not formal education but i learned English and other stuff for myself by the streets of Ghana. Life has never been easy ,but we are still pressing on. Because i couldn't attend school due to circumstance beyond my control, i find myself working or doing other business at a tender age, especially where i moved from the typical village i was brought up to Berekum, to start my own electrical shop, where i sell all kinds of electrical gadgets.

My Business

I sell electrical gadgets in the Berekum metropolis. There is electricity in every part of Berekum, and therefore there is the demand for electrical parts for existing homes and newly constructed homes. I sell stuffs like cables, sockets, lights, electrical iron, etc. I have customers who jump in on daily basis to buy something from me. I will not however use this loan to improve my shop, but will buy nutritional food for children which has been subsidized by the Government of Ghana, to my deprived community where i was brought up and children suffering from malnutrition to also enjoy this intervention by the Government of Ghana, but due to location barrier, the kids in my community where i was brought up, which is about 150km from Berekum, where there are no good roads to this place, where commercial vehicles work once in a month to the place, due to devastated roads

Loan Proposal

I will buy subsidized nutritional food(cereals) from the Holy Family Hospital in Berekum and send to my deprived community, which is about 150km from Berekum, where the road to my village is totally inaccessible and vehicle visiting the place once a month due to the distance and nature of the road. This cereals will improve the health status of the newly born babies in my community who are suffering from malnutrition due to location and poverty. Children die regularly in my village due to what they eat and thereby giving them weak immune system. I will buy this cereals and send to my village on weekly basis and repay with the help of my business at no profit in my village to help solve this problem in my village, where no one is attending to. I can repay the loan, when am favored. Thank you lenders.
