About Me

Am Ronoh Kiplangat Benard from Bomet county, Bomet East constituency in Rift valley region. I am a graduate in Bachelor of science in agricultural Economics and Resources management from Moi University. Farming has been the background of our family and source of our livelihood. Currently am doing a poultry production in my farm of about 100 chickens and the layers are around 80 chicken. I normally collect my eggs and sell locally at the prices of kes 12 per egg. This has assisted me for my family living and my children education. I started this farming with few chickens around 10 and I have grown to more than 100 chickens.

My Business

l have an employment but I run my poultry farming as another source of my living. I started my poultry farming in 2017 and I have rear them for one year and some months. I normally collect around 70 eggs daily and sell them locally at a price of 12 per egg. In a day I have kes 770 which comes to around kes 23,000 per month. I have a target of increasing the number of my chickens to around 500 .This will increase my income and expand my sources of income which will improve my living standards and that of my family.
