About Me

Grace Konde was born in Nairobi, Kenya on 12th October 1989.  She is a marketer and a leasing expert by profession. She has been in the business of building relationships all her life but for over 7 years professionally. After her ‘O’ Level, Grace joined USIU seeking a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. While at USIU, Grace was an active member of The Michezo Africa club and a founding member of the USIU public speaking club. Besides that, she worked as a volunteer at Magodo Children’s Home, a course which lasted for 3 months. She has certification for Digital Marketing, PowerPoint Presentation, Management and Commercial Leasing among others. Grace is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and The Leasing Association of Kenya (LAK). She is currently pursuing an MSc in International Relations at USIU.

My Business

Grace is presently the head of Business Development in one of Kenya’s leading leasing companies (Rivieres Finance Limited). She was previously at VAELL where she joined as a graduate trainee and grew to be a Regional Relationship Manager in a span of six months. She was tasked to handle among others; government leasing, credit and marketing. Prior to this, she worked as an Executive Assistant of the Director of Development & Corporate Affairs at The National Museums of Kenya where she established herself as a self-starter and a leader.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to expand my online business which i started with the previous loan of selling household equipment. The money will be used to increase stock, buy internet, pay for electricity as well as delivery & marketing of the items.

Income Source

Besides the Business, i also earn a monthly income plus commission from my current employer. The online freelancing also pays through profits on a daily basis based on the goods i've sold.
