About Me

My name is Elinda Wangui 24 years of age.I finished my high school level in the year 2009.I have done financial literacy and computer literacy,have worked in sales and marketing department and later on decided to be an entrepreneur currently having a business of supplying cupcakes,truffles and cookies. The profit from the business will be used to expand the business and also support me to advance my education so that I can also empower more local young people in my community and other community.My hobbies are traveling for adventure,reading novels and books on entrepreneurship,watching movies and listening to music.

My Business

I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur since i was in school therefore after i finished school i could do small scale business like beading necklaces and earrings and selling them to my friends which helped me to save little by little and started a project of cupcakes ,truffles and cookies.apparently i don't have a place for my business so i do it indoors ,i bake them and deliver in shops.my clients prefer my cupcakes truffles and cookies because i deliver them in different variants eg vanilla, chocolates,strawberry,and fresh to eat.the customer is always the king and my number one priority therefore i make sure my cakes are the best wanting them to be happy and satisfied.as an entrepreneur come across challenges as well for example when i bake and something goes wrong in the process or if they break when packaging it becomes a waist.The biggest challenge at the moment is not having enough money to add to the quantity i supply.my total income per month is 340 us dollars total expenses is 202 us dollars therefore my net profit is 158 us dollars

Loan Proposal

When i get the loan i will be able to add to my savings and rent a shop where my customers can get me anytime and add variety of ingredients and be able to deliver in big quantities in retail and wholesale as well also start baking even birthday cakes to get large number of customers.I will use half the amount to rent a shop that is 68 us dollars and add part of my savings and the rest 68 us dollars on adding the ingredients.
