I was born in 1988, and now 26 years old single man and Christian by faith, I started my primary school at chemoibon primary school in keiyo district. I transferred to Kapkelelwa boarding school in 1996 to join standard three class and I continued until I completed and attained my primary certificated in the year 2001. In the 2002 I joined Bartolimo High School and successfully completed my Olevel education in the year 2005 and attained Kenya secondary school education certificate. I tried did farming in Uasin-gishu district, moiben division, torochmoi sub location at village known as kilima in the year 2006 whereby I was staying in uncles home. In year 2007 I joined Moi University chepkoilel campus which is currently University of eldoret and pursue degree in microbiology and successfully completed in the year 2011. I worked on several research projects and I was employed at oserian Development Company in June 2012 and the contract ended in November 2012. Immediately I was employed digicom research farm in thika as a research writer where I gained experience in online writing and I obtained my research writing account which I am working on as freelance research writer up to date. Most recently i was employed at TNS-RNS based in Nairobi as Field officer. It is a research and market company.
As I mentioned in my story, I opened a milk bar in Otongolo whereby I don’t have many competitors and I have high demand from my customers but sometimes I face milk shortages but I have tried my best to ensure that my customers are satisfied. On average I save 200 US dollars in this business in a month. Since the room occupied by this business have a big space, I have applied for a refrigerator from equator coca cola company which has been approved by regional sales manager, whereby they require me to buy ten crates of soda on the day the will deliver the fridge. If awarded the loan, I will use it to buy this crates and other soft sold by the company like minute maid and dassani water. I strongly trust that this assistance enable me increase my monthly saving by adding other products that I will be selling and even have more customers in my business. I will keep you posted on the progress of my business.
As i had said i opened a milk bar in Otongolo whereby there were not many competitors and demand was high from my customers but sometimes was facing milk shortages but I tried my best to ensure that my customers were satisfied. Initially i used to save an average of 200 US dollars in this business in a month before i gotten the my first loan from zidisha company. Currently i save twice the same amount of money from the business (400 USD). Now i intend to open a new branch in Kisumu rural center approximately 5km apart. Having surveyed that surrounding area it most likely that the business will do well because of the availability of market, less competition and large population of people living in that region. It only one enterprise within the same area of the same which is poorly managed and i would like to capitalize on their weakness to establish a reliable milk-bar that will meet the needs of the residents of that area. This second loan will held to start that branch fully and equip it and also put enough stock for start. My repayment of the loan will boosted with my current job and the the already established business as the one am to start gains momentum.
