Jambo Linus this is James. Son, I am glad that you got your loan. It seems to me that you have a nice little business going with the shoes and clothes. Do the best you can and give the customer the best you can and the customers word of mouth will be your best advertisement. Also it would be good if you had a business card for advertisement. Give a card to each customer and also to people you feel might be interested in buying the items you sell. Just a simple business card listing the items you sell, other information you want on it, and your name and phone number. You need to think of a name for your business and put it on the card. Start with a few cards, like 50 or 100. As you give out the cards, it would be good to if you can show some samples of the items you sell, like the styles of the clothes and shoes. When they see those samples someone might place an order right then, so be sure to have paper and pen with you to write everything down, what they want, their name and address and phone number. It is like selling house to house. I am guessing that you do not have a store. A barber shop may be a good place to give out cards and show samples. Think of other places. Son, the Lord is your best and number one partner in your business so ask Him to help you. Do your best and keep your word to people. I take it that you are schooling too, what are you studying? I have been to Kenya 3 times and have many sons and daughters, grandkids and friends there. Well son, take care and "keep on keeping on". I hope to hear from you soon. Take care son and remember, "Nakupenda". James

    Dear lender,
I have come to learn that the above borrower has been adversely
affected by heavy rains and unable to work well.
He is optimistic that rains will reduce for easy business access.
I will update on the progress.
