About Me

I was born in Kitale, Kenya in 1996 to a family of five. Growing up, my parents did their best to give us a better education and life than the one they had. I attended nursery school and started primary school in 2003. After 8 years of primary school, i attended high school for four years and completed in December 2014 with a mean grade of A-. I later enrolled to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology the following year to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Business Information Technology and completed my undergraduate studies in December 2018.

The unemployment rate in my country is high especially among the youth, since the job market is saturated. Therefore after looking for a job for the past few months without any success, i decided to do freelance writing as a full time job. I started freelance writing two ago while i was still in university where i did it as a part time job.

My hobbies include reading novels and articles, art and design. Besides that, I also love photography and do it mostly on weekends.

My Business

My business is online freelancing, copywriting to be specific, which involves generating content for websites. I chose this kind of business because i love writing and reading articles. Besides that, i could not find any employment after completing my undergraduate studies therefore i opted to do freelancing as a full time job.

For this business, one requires a writer's account, a laptop/computer, power supply and internet connectivity. Since i am currently doing it as a full time job, i want to scale up my business by employing one more writer. Therefore, i need another writer's account which is the reason for my loan application. I usually use my profits to pay for my bills such as rent, internet connectivity etc.

Project Proposal

I will use the money to pay for internet . Since I run an online business, I require internet connection in order to sell and interact with my customers. At the moment I have limited funds to pay for the internet and therefore this loan will come in handy.
