I'm Vincent Aenda born in 1997 in Homa Bay county, Mbita constituency, Gembe West location, Kasgunga East sub location. I was fourth in a family of eight children.I went to Nyamasare primary school where I did my kcpe examination in 2012 and difinately I got poor grade and I couldn't join secondary school. I went to Waondo youth polytechnic to do electric course and later finished it in 2015.I got married in February 2016 and I was blessed with a baby boy. The baby is still very young and can't make any future decision on his carrier. In 2014,electricity jobs are so scarce in my place as most of places are still lacking electricity and other frastructure. With the sale of 5 cows given to me by my father,I purchased a new motor bike (Bajaj)to get some money to support the whole family. Due to increase of my family needs and the needs of other extended family members, I joined motor riding to earn a living in Lwanda Nyamasare Shopping Centre. In Gembe location, we experience annual heavy rainfall during the month of March to June which is condusive for farming, cattle keeping and fishing is also done in lake Victoria as a good source of income. During Sundays,I usually goes to church to worship God the Creator, watch football premier leagues of various countries.
With the motor bike I bought, I started ferrying people, luggages and some time purchasing various commodities like maize grain and other cereals, horticultural products like tomatoes, sukumawiki, onions, watermelon, avocado and some planted seedlings during rainy season and resell in order to get profit from the business to support my nuclear family and the extended family members. With the good money got from motor bike riding and profit from sales of various business goods and services offered are used to pay school fees for the two brothers in primary school, repair and maintain motor bike, provide food, buy clothes for the family members, settling business bills and expenses and meeting other secondary requirements for the family as a whole.
With the disbursement of this loan, I will pay KES 600/= school fees for the two brothers in primary school class six and eight.Buying of side mirrors, one inner tube, some nuts and bolts at a cost of KES 400/=.
