About Me

Am john simiyu, born in kitale town. I went through kitale primary and later joined chesamis secondary. In my A level,I performed average. I didn't get a chance to proceed to higher level of education. I decided to start a business to cater for my daily needs.my parent gave me capital to start with.

My Business

After receiving capital, I went ahead and started a business which was already in my mind. I first went to our town and consulted my friend who had already a business in town. He advised me on how to get a place to start up my business, he directed me to the market Master who showed me a space in an open market. He told me to be paying tax on daily basis. I went, bought lady shoes and the following day ,I was in the market.

Loan Proposal

I have a project of pig farming. I started by constructing the pig house using my own savings which i got from my business of shoes. At the farm the neighbours have been pleased with the project. This has encouraged me to equip the pig house with tap water. The availability of water will enable me do necessary cleaning of the house. I have done market research and discovered many people love pork meat. Due to scarcity of pigs it fetchs good market prise.Now what is remaining i want to add more pigs using the loan. I usually buy young pigs which is ksh3000.And when they mature i will sell at ksh20000 At the moment i have four young pigs. Hence new loan Will enable me buy more young pigs. In terms of feeding my pigs i have stocked obalanced diet meals for my pigs and i have kept health records to monitor their growth also i have a healthy officer whom treats them.
