About Me

My name is Atta Kyei, I lived at Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. I was born on 13th June, 1990 to family of eight children and I happened to be the fourth born but now I am the eldest among my siblings because my elderly siblings died through accident, this made parents worried because they spent almost all their capital on them thinking that they will take care of other siblings. This made life unfriendly for me because I could not get higher education. My parents are not working now,because I could not attended college or university there were no job for me, so one day I was thinking of what to do in order to support my parents and other siblings, I decided to go into farming I plant pineapple and it has sustained me and my family.

My Business

I started this plantation of pineapple after getting a land from neighbors, planting of pineapples was not an easy task but I was able to plant about two hundred duckers of pineapples, the land was good so it yielded more fruit so I got a lot money from it. Farming system here is very difficult so I can't produced more of the pineapples because it's only me working in my farm, I want to produced more pineapples so that people from other regions will come and buy from my farm.

Loan Proposal

I need a loan of about 500 dollars so that I can buy more pineapples suckers to plant in my farm,this will help me to produced more pineapples I my community and others who buy from my farm will always get some to buy and sell for them also get their daily bread. Also I will use some of the loan to hire more labourers to work in my pineapples farm this will also help me to increase my productivity and others will also benefit from it. I expect that my profit will increase from 150 dollars to 300 dollars. And this will help me cater for my younger siblings and my parents. Thank you.
