About Me

Am Vitalis Odero Ogutu.I went to Wangapala Sec. School where i did my O level with a lot of hardship due to lack of fees from my poor parents. I did not attend college due to same fee problem.I am married with 5 children.Because i had to struggle for my life and my family i began doing casual jobs from which i was able to raise money and bought 2 dairy cows .These 2 dairy cows produces 50 litres @ day which i sell out to my neighbours as my income.Apart from dairy farming i do engage in retail shopping where i do sell food stuff to the neighbourhood from my small scale kiosk.

My Business

I do keep two dairy animals in my half an acre farm. Part of the farm has been used to grow nappier grass for the animals. I do supply milk to my neighboring community on a daily basis. The income i get from milk sell has enabled me to pay fee for my children and also for my upkeep including my parents.
I appreciate the first loan of ksh.600 you gave me . It made me move somewhere. I also appreciate your second loan of ksh.4000 which enabled me expand my dairy cattle business and eventually bought two more dairy cattle.and again i appreciate for the third loan which enabled me to plant foder for my cows I now wish to apply for a loan of ksh4000 you recommended for me to continue with business.

Loan Proposal

i am very much thankful for another opportunity to take a loan from zidisha. The loan will help me expand my dairy farm project. This will enable me compete favourably with my neighbours who have the same project. Now that I have four more dairy cattle, this loan thus will assist me to rent an extra piece of land for hay grass and reconstruct another sizeable water point .I also have s plan to construct a cattle dip and avoid in replying on my neighbours cattle dips.my annual rent cost is approximately 40usd being in the rural area. when i plant hay it save me from buying
hay from other vendors infact ill even sell excess hay ffrom my rented farm and this would provide withextra income from sales besides feeding my dairy cattle. since i will be producing my own hay, i will be striving to produce good quality hence increased milk production and profit. My profit projection from this project is valued at usd 20 daily from milk sales, and this will also boost my living standard. my chlidren also wont suffer due to lack of schoolfees and food. thanks in advance, i am looking foward to your continued support, amy God bless you abundantly
