About Me

My name is Caroline mwangi,I was born and brought up in muranga county Kenya being the last born in a family of 8children.my dad passed away when I was two years old and we had a lot of hardship while growing up.however through hard work my mother educated us through college levels until we settled on our own.
After college I was employed as a supervisor in an animal feeds company where I worked for seven years. After that I moved to another company where I worked as a sales representative for four years.in 2010 I decided to start my own business and I ventured into selling household goods.I didn't have enough capital but I approached my brother who gave me a soft loan of 36k and I added yo the little that I had saved.with a capital of about 100k I rented a business house and bought stock which I have continued to grow to date.
Iam a go getter and very aggressive.iam very optimistic and believes in self discipline. I like reading, novels ,magazines and newspaper. When I have time and resource I love dancing and takes time with my children.Iam a mother of 3vhildren aged 7,4,2 years and the first two are in school.
I live in a peace loving society and cosmopolitan town so basically there are no cultures and we all embrace each other and majority of us are Christians.
My shop is located in a very strategic place at the entrance of 4 estate phases and just opposite a college and a mission hospital.therefore if I am able yo stock my shop well I can make a daily sales of 5k whereby I get a profit of 2k i n that.IG given the loan I will grow mu business and probably open another new shop

My Business

I sell household goods in retail.I purchase at Nairobi Kamukuji atva fair price and sell them at a profit.

Loan Proposal

I will buy 5 buckets @100 and resell them @150 each.these buckets are very marketable as they are used by most people who sell foods and cereals and also those who hawk fruits as they are transparent and easy to carry.since the money isn't much I will buy from the local wholesaler so that I will save on fare and time.
