About Me

Iwas born in Karatina , nyeri couty. I went to Kiarithaini Primary school and later joined Kiarithaini High school where i graduated in 2004. Due to lack of funds, i was not in a position to continue with my education and i started small scale farming which i did for two years until i got employment at a local store as a cashier. During all this time, my passion for education was still intact and i saved to the last coin to make sure i achieve my dreams. With the savings i had, i enrolled for a diploma in dairy technology at Egerton university in 2009 and i graduated in 2012. After college i secured employment at Brookside dairy ltd where i was employed on contractual basis. after the end of my contract, the company did not renew my contract. i started tarmacking searching for a job which proved to be a hard task. After searching for a job without getting one, i opted to open a small business with the little savings left.

My Business

I run an entertainment business called Joystar entertainment, the business deals with the sale of movies, music, flash-disks and memory cards. I also have a printer which i use to print, do photocopy and scan documents for my customers. With the majority of Kenyans being he youth, the movie business is ideal as most people especially the youth, buy movies to go entertain themselves in their house, the movies are also a source of inspiration for most people. I use my profit to expand the business and also foot my bills.

    Hi Zidisha Team,

I talked with John and he explained to me that, whenever he paid, the amount is sent back to him and not credited to Zidisha account.

I told him to write an email to [email protected]

Hello team, i made a payment and the funds were reverted back to me, this is the second consecutive time this is happening to me. This makes me look like a defaulter and has lowered my repayment ob time from 100 to 87%. I am saddened by this turn of event. I have the Mpesa messages to proof this. Please rectify or communicate the way forward. Thank you.

One of my family members was involved in an accident and is hospitalized at Kenyattta National Hospital, therefore i am using most of my time and resources including money to cater for his medication and the hospital bill. Due to this i am unable to raise the amount i had pleadged to repay. With the loan i acquired, i did buy the Play station but it has not yet started functioning due to this unfortunate accident.
