About Me

I am Amos ,I am the second born son in our family mong six children, I went to Amagoro primary school and then st Pauls Amukura for secondary education.I then joined Bukura for certificate in agribusiness management.
The hardship I faced after college was getting a meaningful job, I was not able to get any job in Nairobi and therefor decided to relocate to my rural area to try my hand in poultry farming.,starting the business was not easy as it required heavy capital injection,I took a loan from a friend of $50 that I used to buy 3 0 birds, after six months they started laying eggs and brooded ,I now have a stock of 400 birds and my target is 1000 chicken.
I have one child named Amos Junior, he is 5 years old and wants to be a doctor when he grows , up.I am working hard to give home quality education,so that he achieves his dreams.
I am a politician and I always believe poverty can be alleviated in Africa once corruption and tribalism is defeated.

My Business

I provide poultry and poultry products i.e eggs and manure to my customers. The demand for indigenous chicken has risen due to good meat quality. I sell my eggs to hotels and sell fertilized eggs to other farmers. the demand for these goods is high because of low supply.
I choose poultry farming because it is very profitable venture and keeping the birds gives me job satisfaction,my monthly expenditure is $100 per month ,I do not spend much on feeds since I practice free range.my monthly revenues are $300 per month.
I use the proceeds from the poultry business to take care of my family and save for reinvestment as well as my diploma in farm management course.

Loan Proposal

I am kindly requesting you to help me acquire $100 loan so that I can buy plastic poles for fencing 1/2 an acre piece of land for free range birds. The birds have increased in number and there is overcrowding in the fence area which may lead to disease,I have already bought some chain link wire and would invest the $60 on 15 poles since on pole goes for $4.Thank you ,please support me.
