My name is Lawrence Yegon. I come from a family of six kids. I went through primary education in Kiptewit Pry School then proceeded to Kimulot High school for secondary education. Due to lack of fees for my college studies i started a bussiness of selling milk in Litein Town. I used to collect milk from my villagers then transport using my bicycle upto Litein Town. After 3 years, i had collected some money which enabled me enroll in college education. College life was not good because every time i was on the road to home for fees. My villagers did a fundraising thus enabling me to finish succesfully. I graduated in 2011 in Bomet Teachers College as a professional teacher. Am now a teacher at Joy Elites Academy, a private primary school. I have inherited 3 acres from my father. I own a half acre farm of tea leaves though they r still young. The climate is cool and wet. I can plant potatoes, cabbage, maize and beans. I also own a cow which produces 15 litres a day. My nuclear family is still young, my daughter is in pre-school. During my leasure time, i love talking to those who have lost hope in life.
My farm produces tea, cabbages, potatoes. I also do dairy farming. Every month i pocket nearly $150. I use nearly $100 in buying farm inputs. I also earn $150 as a teacher. I intend to start a shop business for my wife since jobs have decided to desert our country. She recently graduated from college. She did library science.
I will plant potatoes and thus get a good profit.
