About Me

I was brought up in a small village in Meru from a poor background.i was very determined in my studies that made me receive sponsership of my education up to the university level.Am still studying but i have a drive of rearing chicken as passion and as income generating venture. I have faced several challanges in life but determination, hardwork and persistence makes me overcome them.

My Business

My business is rearing the traditional chicken. In my culture people value chicken meat and eggs so this provides market for my product. Since childhood i had passion in rearing chicken that is the main motive towards this business. The cost that my business faces is provision of feeds for the chicken, buying chicks and expanding structures for my chicken. The source of revenue is from sales of eggs and cocks. The small profit i make i use for my university upkeep and support my parents

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy feeds for my chicken costing 20 dollars, buy more cocks and chicks for rearing costing a total of 50 dollars. I will also venture into banana farming business, since there is high demand for bananas in my neighborhood, and climatic conditions are favourable. I will buy 50 banana suckers costing a total of 10 dollars ,manure costing 10 dollars ,fertilizer costing 30 dollars ,labour costing 20 dollars, and buy farm tools costing approximately 40 dollars. The investment in will increase my profits from 10 dollar in poultry to 20 dollars per week and further approximately 200dollars per annum from banana after they mature. The increased profit i will use to further my studies ,repay my Zidisha loan and support my family.

    Hi Lenders,

I hope you are doing well.
Mr Eutycus Kinyua did not take our calls. I however reach out to their neighbor Stanley Kinoti who agreed to talk to Eutycus with regards to resuming loan repayments.

    Thanks for your patience.

I used the loan to expand by poultry businesses by, constructing more structures for the chicken. I bought 10 iron sheets costing 50 dollars, wood costing 30 dollars, nails, and padlocks and feeding trays costing 20 dollars. Chicken feeds costing 50 dollars. Paid veterinary services for vaccination 50 dollars.
