About Me

I am a pastor working with Christway Foundation Ministry as the ministry founder and senior pastor to Lumani Church.I grew up in a christian family in a rural area,Bungoma County,Western part of Kenya. I have 2 Diplomas in Theology(from different colleges).Currently,I'm in a class for higher Diploma. I am married to Josephine and we have 4 children.Jonah 12yrs wants to be a pilot when grow up.Derick 9yrs wants to be a Doctor when grow up,while Calvin 5yrs to be a teacher.Kaitlyn 4yrs is still young.I have about 3 acres piece of land which is very fertile and next to river Nzioa.I like reading a bible, listening to gospel songs and watching Christian movies.

My Business

I am a small scale farmer whereby I grow maize, groundnuts, beans and vegetables.I am also rearing of 2 milk Cows and keeping Chickens. We provide about 18 litres of milk to people within every day. We also have enough market for eggs and chicken for meat.We do supply hotels and others are picked from home because we near Webuye town.In fact we provide less than the demand. We also sell beans and groundnuts. These do very well in our soils. This makes the harvest more successful since our region receives rainfall almost throughout the year. This has made me sent my children to school without any hardship and also meeting day to daily needs smoothly.I hope will help me improve on this and do better.

Loan Proposal

When offered a loan of ksh.10000, I will use 50 USD for planting crops thus groundnuts and vegetables. 30 USD will be used for buying seeds for planting while 20 USD for labor in garden. Because I come from western region where we receive rainfall almost throughout the year. Incase of lack of rain ,I am close to Big water source which I will use the water for the Irrigation because I have a powerful water-pump .The vegetables will serve my family and the community. This will help people around not move long distance in looking for vegetables. After harvesting ground nuts which do best in our region ,I will sell and pay school fees for my 4 children all who are in private schools. Also I will use the remaining 20 USD for buying local chickens and use 30 USD for their food and medicine. I already constructed their house .Local breed of chickens are resistant to many diseases. After 2months, I will be able to start selling eggs from chickens and also for family consumption. Other eggs will left for hutching young chicks .After growth , I will be able to sell some chickens and also increase the stock of the chickens. This will help the community and my family to get enough protein without much struggle. With support of zidisha ,I am determined to make this dream come true. Thanks very much for your consideration.
