About Me

My name is Charles Alaro who was born in 1960 in Nyangoma location in Kisumu county. I was born in a family of 15 siblings;-9 boys, 4 girls father and mother. I started my early age Education at nyangoma nursery school in 1969 and completed it in 1970 and joined nyangoma primary school for primary Education and successfully sat and passed K.C.P.E examination in 1979. I later on joined onjiko high secondary school for higher learning in 1980 and completed successfully in 1983 after which i joined Bondo Teaching collage in 1984 for teaching course which I completed in 1986. I was employed by T.S.C (Teaching service commissions) in 1990 and still in the service to date. Iam married with one wife and 8 children;- 5 girls and 3 boys and also adopted three orphans from the late second born brother. My two boys would like to be business men in future and the remaining children would like to be in teaching proffession just like their father. The three adopted children would like to be in msdicsl proffesion. I like watching football reading novel and traveling on my free time.

My Business

I am trained and employed by the Government of Kenya as Ap1 teacher and have been in the service since 1990 to date. I am also farming on my free time to supplement and support my family with food and financially. In my family farm I grow;- maize, sugar-cane plantation, cowpeas, sikuma wiki, sorghum, trees,and other vegetation. I also rear ;- Dairy cows, hosts sheep's, rabbit and chickens. The farm is used for consumption and business purposes. I approximately collect $20 daily from the poultry eggs and $30 from dairy farm and vegetation everyday which makes it an average of $50 from my farm everyday and approximately $1500 in months time. I have realized that due to high demands of both milk and eggs locally, i should expands my farm by incressing layers chicken and also add two dairy cows. However i am kindly requesting zidisha team to consider my request and funds my loan to enables me meets my customers demands and also support my family and siblings. Thanks in advance.
