My name is Tony and i was born in Kiambu in Ndenderu. I went to school in my early age. I was a fine and hardworking young boy back in the days. Both parents were farmers and thats how the paid for our school fees. After my secondary education i couldn't afford to pay for the college education and so i started hawking ladies shoes for a living. It was a long a tedious business as i could walk long distances carrying the shoes and time don't even make a single sale. I decided to change my line of business to poultry as it was less tedious and the profits were good. So after hawking for a while i started setting up the project i started small but now i have a big place for business. Where i live the climate is really conducive for this sort of business. I would love to see my children grow to be farmers like me or Bankers, Doctors and even Pilots. I love reading, dancing, swimming.
I keep and take care of poultry at a very tender age of say a day old. I feed and take care of them till they are ready for sale. In a nutshell i provide both chicken and its eggs for sales. The goods are pretty important and useful as they are a source of food through out the world. I choose this business as it requires less knowledge and capital to work with. It only involves taking care of the chicks till they are ready to sell and make some cash. I also choose this business as it is widely marketable. I spend on feeds and water at times even buy drugs in-case an outbreak of disease affects my poultry. The feeds would cost me 40USD and that lasts me a month or so. I pay for water monthly at a fee of 10usd and also they need heat so i also cater for the electricity costs of around 6usd. I have rented the space for 30usd a month. In a month i could make upto in profits of 100usd to 120usd. I use the proceeds to reinvest back in business and also for home improvement.
I will use this money to buy more feeds for the poultry costing 10usd that would last them till the end of the month. The remaining 4usd will use to pay for the electricity bill. This will increase my sales as i shall have more to offer in terms of feeds to the flock. I will be able to provide my customers with healthier and fatter chickens. Given this loan i expect my business to grow by 20usd in profits by the end of each month.
