About Me

Am Brian Muleshe from Kakamega,Kenya and studied at St. Stephens Shiatsala secondary and completed my secondary school education in the year 2014. Due to unbalanced economy situations I decided to venture into poultry farming which was my passion goal aiming to do best in my abilities and make profits to help me and my family financial as am the breadwinner in the family being the first born I had no other choice but to make sure that I can utilize the small resources at home to help me earn a living so that I help my mom not to struggle making ends meet for the family. My friend introduced me to Zidisha saying it's a legit zone for funding a business that's why I opted for joining the team to help me out.

My Business

I started poultry rearing in the year 2018 after hussling for the startup capital and was able to construct a structure to keep the birds in. First I brought in 20 birds at Ksh 200 each which I was able to acquire and increasingly the birds multiplied to 57 after sometime which made me to have confidence in myself that I can do best from my knowledge in poultry farming and I was able to manage them since I did all the required schedules on vaccination, feeding and marketing because that was my full-time job..I sold the stock at the end of 2019 and got a quite reasonable profit and brought in other birds early this year to again help me make a step forward on my goals status. The problem this year has been getting the feeds and vaccines since most of constant funds in the activities has reduced and a kilo of feeds goes for Ksh 50 while vaccines range from Ksh 300 to Ksh 500 and due to the number of birds, consumption is higher above limits which requires much attention to avoid lose of birds from malnutrition currently I have 167 birds which catering for the feeds has been difficult because of the current funds situation but if given enough support I can grow well in my project and standout to make lots of profits in the market and that's why I opted for Zidisha to reach the world to help me fulfil my dreams of becoming a renowned poultry farmer, increase my output and make alot of profits which will raise my standards o living and my people entirely and also expand my market locally. I would appreciate your efforts Zidisha people if I will be helped to prosper and be considered.

Loan Proposal

Am going to purchase feeds, repair my structure for my birds and also am looking forward to purchase more birds.

Income Source

Due to the demand of birds this season am going to get enough profit from the sales of some of the birds and I will be able to repay back the loan without difficulty.
