About Me

MY CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
i was born in Transmara in narok county before we moved to bomet town. i went to Bomet primary school and Tenwek high school before joining Kenyatta university for degree in Agricultural Resource management.
HOW I OVERCAME CHALLENGES
While growing up i have always been a hardworking person who never relents. i believe in achieving every thing through hard work and patients.
HOW I STARTED MY BUSINESS
the idea of starting my own business came to me as i was in my final year in the university. using the little money i had saved in the campus, i borrowed some amount from my father and i started my business.
UNIQUENESS OF OUR LAND
Bomet is a place of many people. it has grown from time to time and it has attracted many people from all over the country. we are nice to all people and we have produced many athletes and even rugby players. our land is a home of talents also. we have many music artists who have marketed our region.
DREAMS OF OUR CHILDREN
Like me when i was young, children from our land have many dreams of achieving high in life. many have seen their dreams come to pass and many are working for it.
MY HOBBY
I love watching movies, documentaries and listening to music.

My Business

GOODS AND SERVICE I PROVIDE
i have a poultry project in which i normally supply restaurants with eggs and chicken meat. i began with five chicken and am currently having seventeen and some which i have ordered at the hatchery.
WHY MY SERVICES ARE USEFUL
when i began, it was hard as i had to look for market to supply my products. however i have had to struggle to satisfy many clients who need chicken and eggs. many restaurants are sprouting and each in need of supply like twice a week. i currently supply two restaurants.
WHY I CHOSE THIS BUSINESS
After missing out in securing county jobs in our area, i saw the need to start a business that is related to my area of profession. and i ended up starting this project as i continue hopping to get a good job which will help me support my project to a higher level.
TYPICAL COSTS AND REVENUE
my revenues comes from selling eggs daily and selling matured chicken to the two restaurants. however i got to spent a lot of money also in maintaining my business. i have to buy food for chicken ensure they get treated and health attention as often as possible. all these cost me almost half my earnings as i also have to buy young chicks weekly.
HOW I SPENT MY PROFIT
i use my profit in improvement of my business. it is a project which is yet to grow to its full length and so i got to use every available resources to support it.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to purchase 20 hens at a cost of 2dollars each hence summing up to 40 dollars. the remaining amount will be used to purchase feeding equipment e.g 5 water vessels at a cost of 2 dollars each thereby summing up to 10dollars.

I am sorry for the inconveniences caused to both my lenders and other beneficiaries of zidisha. I am currently working on how to revive my business and will resume my payments as soon as the business picks up. thank you

The loan was used to purchase additional chicken.i was then able to increase the sale of eggs from the venture hence generating more profit.currently i supply an average of 20 eggs daily to the market.
My ambition next is to double the current sales by the end of this month with additional stock and developing my infrastructure.
