My name is teresia Wairimu. I live in kitale town. Am a teacher by profession. I am married with three children. One boy and two girls. My my two girls are school going. One in grade 4 the other one in grade 1. My boy turned two December 22nd.Currently doing grocery and mpesa business in kitale town. The place is known as lessos 2km from the main town. The business has kicked off well and it's very promising. It has been in operation for the last one year having began. My two girls loves swimming a lot which they have learnt in school. Any time we have an opportunity to go for a holiday they carry along their swimming costumes. My husband and the children are very supportive to the business since it is a family business. We love supervision of the business in the evening after work. We are also involved in the church ministry where my husband is a pastor. As family we love singing. My husband plays guitar while am learning to play the keyboard together with my eldest daughter who is nine years old. We also love visiting people and sharing the gospel. Currently we have learnt chess as a family we are enjoying playing.we also play Scrabble which ensures our free time is well spent. We are great full that every moment we have is a time to learn.
The grocery business I have been operating systems nice 2018 has seen some tremendous growth. My weekly income has increased from 20000ksh to 30000ksh. This has enabled me be able to restock. The customers response has been positive because they can get service at my shop since it is well stocked. My M- pesa business has improved running at 90000ksh from 80000kh. I have been able to pay my shop attendant well and I have managed to pay the rent for the business. Iam thinking of introducing sale of footwear which my customers are asking. This will make my shop be a one stop shop. With the loan I get from zudisha it will take my business to the next level.
Will add more chicks. Then purchase more feed. Will continue to expand my garden farming by adding beans in the next season. Will still purchase fertilizer and vegetable seeds. The vegetables will be sold to y neighborhood. Expecting to increase weekly profit to be350$.
