About Me

My name is Sherlene kafun, I was born and raised in Nakuru rift valley province, am a third born in a family of seven members, I was raised in farming my parents were farmers, I studied to collage but unfortunately could not secure employment.

I had to accompany my friend to her salon as a way to keep busy and at least be doing something, Through this job I managed to save the small money my friend gave and started buying chickens, at least in a week I could buy 3 chickens, My brothers were happy about my ability to start a small poultry business, They chipped in and helped me raise 200 us dollars which I used as initial capital to start my business.

I have always wanted to make money and live a better life, I love my family and wish we could all one day enjoy the hard work of my venture.
My hobbies is teaching during Sunday school and singing.

My Business

My business is poultry keeping for eggs and meat, I sell eggs, chicken meat and small chic's for startup farmers, with time I have managed to increase my production capacity and also attracted many customers.
am now focussing on hatching and selling of small chickens due to demand and good profits.
most of my customers are buying pure indigenous chickens commonly called ( kuku kienyeji ) in Swahili.

Project Proposal

With the loan I will be able to buy modern feeding eguipments and Chiken feeds, with enough feeds I will rare more chiks and make more money.
