I come from a family of five and am the second born. Am in college doing a diploma in business administration in a local college. My hardship and struggles in life i overcame when i realized being positive and hard work in life will make me do the impossible things. I started my business because i saw the need and i love the business. The business helps me pay my college fees and my siblings. The profit remaining i deposit in my bank account.

My Business

My business is selling broiler chickens meat to school, local hotels and home owners. Broilers are meat birds often referred to as fryers in some places. They are bred to grow fast so that they are ready for the dinner table between 4 and 10 weeks of age. Broilers are sold between 1. 5 and 3 kg live weight depending on consumers’ preferences and market demands and i sell each for $ 5 and i make a profit of $2. I sell graded or classified birds because proper grading or classification attracts different types of consumers. This will also enable the consumers to make purchasing decision on bird size at hand. Broilers are judged on cleanliness and the valuable meat areas i.e. large breasts and thighs. This business makes more profit when you feed the chicken well, mind their health and keeping poultry house clean.

Loan Proposal

The loan will help me buy the feeds for my broilers that have bought recently to cater for the high demand of orders i get and medicines to ensure their health is good during their growth. The feeds will cost Ksh. 6,500 and medicines Ksh. 1,300. Please help me get this loan so as am able to satisfy my customers with the demand of chicken meat they require. I will add little of my savings to boost in the buying of feeds because the loan will still not be enough to cater for the feeds. My business will boost since the Christmas season is near. Hope to get funded soon.
