About Me

My Name is Emmaculate Akinyi Aluoch. I was born at Chemelil in Nyando District and Kisumu County in Kenya. I went to Koru Girls and later to Kenyatta University. I am presently married and has two daughters named Grace and Favour. I was raised by a single mother. life was very difficult. But I thank God for his faithfulness. I saw my mother work so hard in her small cafeteria. Her determination inspired me to equally work hard.
I always prayed and God helped me pass. Hard work and discipline helped me scale great heights.
I am a small scale poultry farmer. I look forward to my business growing as time goes by. I live in Oyugis town. People here are loving and outgoing. God has blessed us with great peace in my neighbourhood. The town is an education centre. Many schools and academies exist here. I still have young children. Grace is 4 years old and Favour is almost two. I like singing. I am in the process of developing my gospel Album. Glory to God.

My Business

My business is poultry. I presently have a heard of fifty chicken. I feed them from their house. They have started laying. I look forward to grow the herd to two hundred. This number can make good profit from sales. Oyugis town offers good market for poultry and poultry products. The population is big and growing. I look forward to supply eggs at retail and wholesale levels. I choose this business as a result of a friend who does the same in another town. I presently use about 7000 Kenya shillings for feeds and medication. The egg production is at least 1300 eggs a month. this gives me 11, 000 a month.
I look forward to expand and get more birds. I use the profits to expand the business. I also use the proceeds to supplement my house needs.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to buy poultry feeds. My budget is $ 50. This will help me increase the feeds and hence production.

Some of the moneys will be used to get more day old chicks. This will help increase the size of my heard and more profits ultimately.

Addition of birds will consequently increase my profits by KSH 2000 each month.

Thanks a lot
