About Me

My name is Emmanuel Maliti. I am a 30 year old Kenyan citizen who is currently self-employed. Currently I am single though I have plans to settle down in the near future. My current business and source of income is computer services (both offline and online). I started this business due to the paltry earnings I received from my first (and if possible last) job. Offline I offer computer services such as typing, typesetting, internet services, computer repair and so forth. I have also started training anyone who is interested in online content creation and data entry in my community. So far, I have been able to train free graduates on how they can make an income online. Due to financial challenges that such graduates face, the training I offer is absolutely free. One of the graduates was not in a position to access a computer and internet connection from home so I have given him the option of using my business premises during the night. Fortunately, he was able to buy his first desktop computer and a modem within two months of working online. He is now self-employed and is doing quite well. Online I offer SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) services such as content creation. Both these types of services have a lot of growth potential and that is why I decided to leave my formal employment and start my own business. During my free time I love to watch movies, series and listen to music. I am also fond of travelling although I can indulge on the same only when I have sufficient funds. I believe with the right platform for funding, I will not only be able to improve my quality of life, but also train more unemployed people who are interested in working online so that they can also improve their quality of life.

Loan Proposal

The purpose of this loan is to get a power backup system such as a UPS combined with a small generator. Currently there are unexplained and frequent power outages in my locality. This had led to a substantial decline in revenue collection. With this in mind, I decided to start saving for a permanent power backup solution. I have saved almost 25% of the required amount, and require assistance with the remainder. Once the system is in place, the business can double or even triple its current daily earnings because none of my competitors has a solution to the power problem. Any assistance towards this endeavor will be highly appreciated.
