About Me

My name Alex Makau.I completed my secondary school in the year 2009. Due to lack of school fees,i only managed to enroll to do basic computer training, a course which took me six months only. After that, i got employed as a cyber cafe attendant in the year 2010 earning kes 10000 per month. In the year 2011,i left my job having saved kes 50000.using this cash i bought for computers and started my own cyber cafe.since then i have been operating my business which gives me my daily bread.

My Business

my business majorly is to enable people access the internet.i also provide tutorial class classes to students on how to to use the internet.due to change in technology, internet has become a basic need to many people in the world.i also help people post adverts in different sites but mostly preferred the job sites.
my business is in a rented house which i pay kes 10000 per month.i also pay kes3000 to the internet provider.
in a day the average revenue is kes 1000.therefore in a month i can generate an averge of kes 30000 which i use to pay my bills and reinvest the balance.

Loan Proposal

thank you for this opportunity.the loan i am applying will be used to purchase a printer which costs 100 U.S dollars.so far i have not been printing for my clients despite the high demand.this will enable my clients get both services ,that is browsing and printing their documents and this will enable me to generate extra revenue.this will lead to an expected increase of profit of about 50% .

    Hi Zidisha,

What's the reason for the deduction of kes 10,722?
Given the total was Kes 11,943 that's almost 90% of the loan!
I thought the service fee was only 5%?

    Regards
    Isaac

I have contacted Alex Makau today concerning the non payment of his loan.
However, he complained to me that he never received the total money as he had applied. I have tried to explain to him the reason for the deduction. I have also advised him to contact the zidisha team for further clarification if he is not contented with my advise.

    Hello my lenders,
Kindly note that i received kes 1,221 instead of 11,943 as i had applied. Note, this is my second loan and not my first loan so the application of that clause which said kes 10,722 will be deducted on my first loan is conflicting since its my second loan and note my first loan. I am yet to receive clarification concerning the same.
More so that amount sent to me has no help to me and i better refund it since its too little for my business and considering in will also pay interest of 5%. How really do you expect me to repay a loan of Kes 12,540? How and where will i raise the capital from? Will this Kes 1,227 enable me boost my business? I wanted to buy a pc machine worthy Kes 15,000, how will i get the remaining balance and yet you are expecting for repayment?

    Hi lenders,
I agree that i paid my first loan with a lot of challenges. I thank you for be patience with me. I managed to buy a color printer which is really helping me in my business.
So far i have a photo shop which helps me increase my revenue and this is as a result of the loan you gave me. I have increased my revenue by 20%.
