About Me

My name is Peris Daniel. I was born in Nyeri County in central Kenya. I was born in a family of six and I am the 5th born. I went to primary school in Nyeri and then went to Mombasa for secondary education. I later did short courses in driving and computer applications.

I did menial jobs for a few years before deciding to venture into music industry and preaching. This is a talent that I realized could earn me a living if I pursued it seriously. I still live in Mombasa city and continuing with my music and preaching career.

My Business

I am a gospel artiste and I spend most of my time selling my music in form of audio and video CDs. I recorded my first audio album two years ago and this was closely followed by a video CD of the same track. I have sold about 300 audio copies and about 200 copies. I normally sell the cds in open markets, gospel crusades and even door to door. I make a modest profit of about $1 per cd. I supplement my income by doing performances in churches and other social events such as crusades and weddings.

I normally produce copies depending on demand but normally in small quantities like a dozen per batch.
I am planning to record my second album as soon as I get funds to do it.

Loan Proposal

As mentioned previously, I am a musician with one album to my name. I produced my first album two years ago and I am glad I have managed to sell 1000 copies so far. I am a small musician by all standards and I am working hard to make myself known. I hope that by producing my second album, I will continue to reach more people and eventually reach a celebrity status.

I will do the production in two phases; phase one is production of audio cd which will cost me about $200. I will be able to sell a good number of audio CDs which will me produce a vcd of the same after 6 months.

This loan is therefore crucial in my music production since it will open the way for my second album. Thank you.
