Hellen Wamuyu 31 years old, working as an insurance agent studying a under graduate at KU. Grew up in Nyeri, went to high school in Kirinyaga, studied diploma in procurement at East African University in Kitengela.

My Business

Earns commission on monthly basis
Marketing insurance products for general business especially motor insurance.
Planning to start selling men's shirts and khaki trousers imported from UG.
This will be enabled by some savings plus a small loan top up.
I have noted that men buy on impulse and do it regularly especially on shirts and weekend attires. I will take advantage of the different kind of men I meet everyday to make lots of sale.
doing marketing on insurance will make it easier for me because I meet a lot of people per day thus will be able to market the shirts and trousers. I will start small then with time add up the stock and enlarge the business.
I will later open up a boutique and import also ladies clothings and bags.
Ladies invest a lot on dresses and shoes and the working class spend most of their cash on clothes, shoes and bags. I will design a way of them paying partially over a particular period.
for now I will use my car as a moving shop and place the stock at the boot of the car. I will market both insurance and the clothes at the same time.

Project Proposal

I will use the funds to pay for my 3rd paper on Life insurance management office after finishing the 2 paper. I manage to score a credit on the paper. I intend to finish the it’s designation by the end of this year.
