About Me

I am Daniel Kamunya from Nairobi Kenya, a father of two boys. I was born in remote parts of Laikipia county where I spent my childhood rearing animals after school and during holidays. Like any other village boy, my childhood was full of fun and involved hunting and hiking in the forest. Despite the challenging environment characterized by regular famine, I managed to pass primary school examination and proceeded to Anestar Secondary School in Nakuru for secondary education.
After passing the secondary exam, I was admitted to Chuka University for a BSc. Economics & Statistics degree which I successfully completed and graduated in 2014. I also pursued Certified Public Accounts (CPA) up to CPA II.
Upon completing university, I joined KCB Bank Group as a bancassurance sales rep where I learnt the ropes of insurance and later joined APA Insurance Company as a Direct Sales Force. I later left to co-start insurance agency with a former colleague.

My Business

I offer insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. Insurance penetration is at 3% and has high potential for growth. The current generation of professionals, car, business, and home owners are highly conscious of their safety hence embracing insurance.
I choose insurance sales business to enable me educate the society about the need for safeguarding their interests through different policy covers. It also offers me the chance to grow my income without limit.
My costs includes rent, advertising, and travel costs. The revenues comes from commissions from different insurance companies whose policies I sell.
I use the revenues to cater for my family and reinvest others in marketing.

Project Proposal
I am seeking a loan to expand my marketing activities both n social media and traditional avenues. It will help improve the visibility and awareness on clients hence increased sales.

Project Proposal

I will use the funds to print promotional materials for marketing my insurance agency. I will also use some of the funds to sponsor ads on Facebook to increase the agency visibility and reach more clients.
Wider audience will lead to more sales for the agency.
