About Me

I am Albin Mutai from konoin constituency in Bomet county in kenya.I am male and was born on 14th April 1992. I am a graduate of moi university in electrical engineering.Besides my career, am a farmer. I am a motivated and disciplined man interested to grow myself financially.

My Business

I did electrical engineering NITA(National Industrial Training Authority) exam grade III on solar technology last year December 2017 and passed. I would like to proceed to grade II this year. These exams are very important because after that I will be given a license for installation and maintenance of solar systems. This certification will help me in securing solar installation jobs as people are going green here in Kenya.Am kindly requesting for a loan from Zidisha to help me book the July 2018 exams. The examination fee is 95 dollars.

Loan Proposal

I will buy both farm inputs and materials necessary for my business.
DAP fertilisers 10kgs for 8 dollars,
1 jembes for 7 dollars,
1 panga for 4 dollars,
water tank for 20 dollars,
watering can for 5 dollars,
insecticides for 7 dollars and
propagating polythene tubes and the covering polythene for 30 dollars. This inputs will generate 10 nursery beds. Each nursery bed has got 1200 seedlings therefore 10 beds will have 12,000 seedlings. Each seedling goes for 10 shillings(0.1 dollar). Therefore, 12,000 seedlings will give a return of 1200 dollars in 8 to 12 months. The expected profit is 1119 dollars. the excess amount i will manage to get from friends.
The profits from the proceeds will go back to improving the farm structure and maintenance.
