My name is Juliet Kina Nyaga ,married and a mother of two children. I live in Nairobi Uhuru estate on outering road. I was born and brought up in Embu district .Currently I am an assistant librarian at a college in Buruburu Nairobi. I mentor teens in my church where I am also a leader in the Sunday school. I speak fluently in English, Kiswahili and Embu language. In my free time I enjoy farming and cooking,i farm vegetables in a small space next to my house. My ultimate goal is to be self employed and to create jobs for other people.
I am in the hospitality industry I provide catering services to people with functions. I started this last year to supplement my income and also as a start up to lead to full time self employment venture. So far I have managed to provide catering services to three people. My biggest challenge has been to benefit from big customers since I do not have the capacity to meet their needs, for now I have equipment to cater for 50 people only. This has hindered my growth as I do not have money to buy more and even modern kitchen equipment to grow the business. If given the loan, I will use it to purchase larger equipment and additional cutlery. I strongly believe that this assistance will give me confidence and ability to seek more business and hence become self reliant and an employer.. I will keep you informed on the progress of my venture.
I have been struggling to market my catering business for about one year and this loan will be a godsend to help me achieve this. The business has inspired me to strive for self dependency and also to seek better the lives of others who are jobless. So far I have a network of friends and family whom I have provided services and have also helped me market the business. Usually I work from my house with assistance from family and friends over the weekends .i foresee a great business venture from my humble beginning so far the response has been good and can do better with more capital. Kindly consider lending me this cash as it will go a very long way into helping me fulfill my lifelong dream.
