About Me

My name is Romano Ekirapa Etyang. I was born on 23rd December year 1976 at Kisawai village in Saboti division, Trans-Nzoia west district in Trans-Nzoia county. My home is on the slopes of Mt. Elgon. I was born in a family of seven being the sixth born in the family. I began my primary education in the year 1982 and did my primary exams after after eleven years down the line. After my A- Level education , I went to theology school where I took a diploma in Theology for 5 years. I later started a church which I still run to date having a sizable congregation. I am married to one wife Jackline Atenge and we are blessed with two boys :- Blessing and Brilliant.

My Business

Apart from running a church, I have also ventured into the business of selling garments within my local town and this has enabled me to feed my family as well as educate my boys Blessing and Brilliant. The business gives me roughly an income of 20000 Kenyan money per month (Us dollar 188.679 average per month). I plan to steer it to a higher level so that I can import garments from the neighboring country Uganda and sell them as part of my stock for this is gaining a readily market in the region. i Intend to open a shop to a accommodate my business so that it is easier for me to mange it because currently I move from market to market especially on market days to sale my merchandise and on the days that we don't have a near-by market day, I remain stationary in my town. The cost of moving from market to market if high and tedious and that is why I am opting for settling in once place especially bearing in mind that the coming season is rainy one in the region. I can get a loan of 50000 Kenya money (Us dollar 471.698), this can help me to boost and fortify my business in within so that I don't move much. I belief Zidisha is a chance for me to grow and realize my dreams that I have had for long.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to buy a television that costs 25000 Kenya shillings (Us dollar 250 )
Because the schools are closed children are at home it will help to keep them busy by watching cartoons, educative programmes.
It will help them not to intefear with neighbors privacy and increase discipline among the children.
